Thanks for your replies, I really appreciate your patience and great advices, I will remove the bracing then, and try my best, but I'm really happy to learn how to work with this, It will be useful in the future as well, I'm sure about it .

I dont know what your working on but there is always a Dollar value involved.

If this is just some plain Jain low value car under 20k when done sand the Bead off seal with some fiberglass filler and call it good. I have seen much worse done.

I'm working on a Euro 320i E30 coupé, Less than 20K for sure, but still a great little classic car

Thanks for your advices, the roof is now way better than it was, it still needs a bit of work, especially since I went a bit too far and got a high spot, but overall it has worked really well !

I will take some pictures next week
