drilled through some roof joists. maybe shouldn't have?

starchy starchy's Profile E-mail starchy Non-Lurker Posts: 3 Joined: Fri Apr 29, 2022 12:48 pm Country: USA	Posted: Fri Apr 29, 2022 1:12 pm everyone i've showed 'em to so far has said "probably won't be an issue" including my welder. so i guess i'll proceed putting my ceiling panels up without welding these 5/16" holes shut. i was drilling them for wire runs. thoughts?

Yes use rubber grommets OR Nylon bushings of some sort + a Good dab of Silicone.
And no I don't think you've hurt structure to bad, Yes you could weld them too if you wanted but I wouldn't get too excited about it for those pictured.
