Cure for rough, dull paint?

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

A while back somehow someone sprayed a heavy duty cleaner/degreaser on the hood of my truck to clean it off. Naturally the clear coat is rough and dull looking now. It didn't severely damage the paint, it just feels rough and looks hazy. Is there something I can do to restore the paint to it's glossy state? Thanks.

First thing I would do is try and buff it out with a microfinishing compound and foam pad. Do a small area. If it doen't make a big difference then I would wet sand it down with some 1500 grit paper and buff it again.
