Bumper looked fine when I briefly looked it over at the body shop, but after they cut and buff and I took the bumper home I noticed this haze on the bumper and then in the upper corner it's more some sort of pattern. What can I do? Threw on some layers of wax and that helped the haze a little bit but not perfect and did nothing to help the corners.
First time here, I've had enough bad experiences with shops so I'm going to start DIY. Excited to learn some things
After cut & buff, what is this haze and pattern?

The pattern is where the shop did not sand all the orange peel away and skimmed over it with a buffer.
The haze looks like it needs some more buffing/polishing. The pattern has to be sanded flat and buffed/polished. Haze just buff/polish. Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

Yes, they sanded that area and did not buff that area enough to bring back the shine.
I would take it back to them and have then re-buff that entire area. They will know what to do. I don't think a finish polish will do the trick, but like I said, they'll know how to address. It's basically a lack of buff in that area. |
