What is the best way to sand and buff edges. I sanded and buffed my paint job and it looks great. However I stayed 1/8 to1/4 inch away from sanding the corners and edges. So now the edges have a small line of orange peel along them. Is there a safe way to sand and compound the corners. I know enough to run my buffer off the edge not on it. But I am hesitant to sand up to the sharp edge lines on the fenders. Any tips for not sanding though? I have 3 coats of clear on the car. Thanks.

I generally stay away from the edges when sanding with 1000 but then move closer with 1500 and even closer with 2000.
