Hello i coated my car in a 1k cellulose primer as recommended by my local paint shop( as its my first time im doing it in a garage) the finish came out all okay, but i thought i brought a base coat after that, however i brought a 1k top coat gloss, i was just wondering do i have to clear coat over this or can i just go straight to sanding/buffing to finish off the paint?
thanks

I think most are confused to what you really have.
Is it Enamel, Lacquer, Urethane? they're all 1K and don't need a clear coat, but you can if you want. Lacquers and urethane rub out easily, most enamels can if activated and allowed to harden. JC.
