Hello All,
Ok so i had this Mobile Detail guy from my local area FB network come out to wash buff and wax my car.. Well i went outside to check on it he had just
started the buffing and i seen he had put some red streeks in my paint from the buffer and the red pad he had on his buffer.

I told him to stop and just get on down the road.

The marks arnt really deap but not sure won what i can do to fix it..

Im thinking about just wetsanding it with 2000 or 3000 gritt

Should that fix the issue? Or should i be doing somthing else?

Thanks In Advance.

If it is the red from whatever pad he was using then it is "transfer" and should come back off. Any chance you've got a "real" paint correction/detail kind of shop or detail guy around you. A decent autobody shop could also take care of it if they have a cut and buff guy. I think just you taking some sandpaper to it is going to get "you" in more trouble. Yeah, you'll get the red off along with a lot more coating......then what? At least get it looked at before you do anything......

looks like thats on top of the paint-possibly dried up product.

''wet a rag with water and rub them marks before anything.

paint got a little hot, this happens a lot.

should come right off, might need a little light sanding.

take some acetone and pull the color off see how bad it is underneath
