Thank you guys once again!

Finished a cut and buff on the roof of the 1955 Ford last week - things turned out so well I even impressed the mother-in-law! Really! I did not like the way the clear turned out on the roof; since I had sprayed it outside in the driveway every bug in the neighborhood assembled on the fresh clear coat to do a square dance. NASTY.
Much better results this time, and I must say I am very happy with the finish. The videos below include some of the work, all you veteran paint and body men will get a good laugh out of it but the job turned out to my liking. I did not learn the finer points of buffing without making a mess until the second video.

there is a lot more on this particular car if you visit http://www.hotrodreverend.com
Thanks again to Chris for the lead on what I believe to be a very forgiving clear for beginners, and to all of you who have helped me along the way. The car is 90% finished and we are coming down the home stretch.
