Hey everyone, I recently got my car painted windows in, and it's an older car so the window trim is a rubber gasket held in with a lock-strip. Unfortunately, the masking around some of this trim was not to the edge, and I now have a good deal of paint bridged between the body and the trim/rubber.

I've learned my lesson about pulling the windows for the next job, but is there anything I can do to fix this in the interim? I'm happy to replace the seals, but would worry about pulling at the paint in the process of getting them off. I've poked a razor blade in a spot or two, and that seems to help, but I'm also not sure of the right method for doing that across the entire window.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Run a razor blade through the joint. Keep the angle constant so you don't dig in. Sometimes using the blade in a blade holder can help you to maintain the correct angle.
