Scratches showing up after cutting - How?

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

Chris,
I would agree except that he already sanded the first two coats with 400 grit.

Sprayed with Omni (PPG) sealer, base coat, and 2 coats of clear.
5. Was doing this in garage and clear was rough. So waited a week and blocked clear with 400 and reshot two more coats of clear. Looked good.

Thanks all.. Yes, I scuffed with 400 to give the old clear some teeth, but that was it... Also, in the new recoat, my D/A, foam pad, and 105 is still showing some orange peel and remnants of nibs, so don't think it also hasn't cut too dramatically.

So, still thinking of some clean 2000, then 3000 to get rid of the introduced scratches, the peel, and other imperfections, then go back with the Maguires 105 and cutting foam pad, then polish with 205 and softer pad.

Sounds OK?
