After doing some serious research on the forum here this is what I came up with for the following. :?

Steps AFTER CC'ing:
Wet sand with 1000G then 1500G
Wipe down with alc/o2 mix
Buff (foam pad) with Finesse it II
Buff again (new foam pad) with 3M Glaze (optional)

Im a lil confused, are rubbing/polishing compounds a thing of the past?

And what grit are they considered equilevant to?

When using Finesse-it II Finishing Material, it acts like a mild compound with the having the characteristics of a polish. It can get rid of 1500 grit sand scratches without any problems as long as you use the buffer correctly (1500rpm’s) and will finish with a dazzling shine. If you use a harsher grit paper (1000-1300 grit) before buffing, then a compound will be required. I recommend in that case 3m Rubbing Compound #5973 followed with Finesse-it II #5928, then the glaze #5996.
Hope this helps 8) .
