I just finished clearcoating (ppg DBU). I thought it went ok, no real texturing. I put 3 coats on. I wet sanded last night. (1500), until the sand paper started gliding over the surface with no drag.
This morning, the entire surface is white, as expected. However I see many small Blue pits in the Clear coat surface. (Pearl Blue is the Base Color)
Should I rough the surface with 600 and put several more coats on, or keep wetsanding until I get down the the level of the pits. I would hate to take all of that material back off if I can avoid it.
Thanks
Pitted Clear Coat..Should I add another coat

I had issues with Cotton Wood seed on the later Coats. Wind whipped up and air born seed got into the Garage. I think that the pits may be where seed landed, another coat went on. Sanding removed the seed and exposed the Pit.
