Id like to learn some of the old school techniques for custom painting and being able to apply fish scales, lace cobbwebbing ect, can anyone suggest some good literature or videos that would walk me thru the basics how how these designs are applied?

I am pretty familiar with spraying the automotive paints themselves but dont know where to begin to attain the different affects. Thanks

Craig Fraiser has a few books you would like. Some good beginner stuff in there too.

There are of course other books but they explain pretty good.

There are a couple of really good YouTube channels for this type of thing too, I can find some links and if anyone else knows a good channel maybe can be posted here too ?
