Two yrs ago I repaired both wheel wells on a dodge Dakota truck bed , now the truck had 130,thousand plus miles and was for a teen learning to drive so I figured perfect time to try and experiment on a adhesive repair, I used Lord Fusor panel adhesive, medium set, followed their prep instructions per their website, curious to see if it would ghost line, nine months later it did, on both wheel wells on the vertical sides about six inches up each side it ghost lined,..... across the top it did not, ... maybe I did something wrong for prep ? but for now I`ll continue to weld them in

I've read about this in several places. I'm thinking it won't show through U-Pol Raptor bedliner, if it does I really don't care. |

I'm thinking something is wrong with lay up or not removing excess may be culprit.
All lay ups should fit snug and Tight with no gaps and all excess should be wiped away. Dennis B.

A little bit more trimming and one fish/backer plate and it's about ready to go on the passenger side.

I bought the U-Pol 2k epoxy primer to use mainly after filler. I wasn't really sure whether it or Por15 would be better. I already spent the cash on it so I might as well use the U-Pol, thanks.

POR15 dries very hard and gets brittle. vibrations while driving causes it to crack and flake off.chips real easy, too.
great for tanks, which i think it was developed for back in WW2,but not for this job. |

Inner rocker is now sanded and epoxy coated. It wasn't in bad shape at all.
