Hey everyone, first time poster. I was hoping someone may have come across a similar color to one I am trying to duplicate. The truck pictured is a race truck and these are screenshots from the YouTube video of it being painted. They state that it is a custom candy orange, but clearly from the one image it is a base color that gives most of that color.
I can nearly replicate the color using candy’s, but since I am painting panels at separate times I don’t believe they will match well enough that way. My preference would be to have a base similar to this, then add some pearl over top.
Closest I have seen so far is Nuclear Sunset Orange, but without seeing a non cleared chip it’s hard to say what it looks like.

Any help would be appreciated!

I do not want to get a burnt orange color, or the standard tangerine orange from HOK, as that one is a candy paint.

Could be close. Did that have a nice orange base to get that?

House of Kolor Tangelo

not sure its close to what you want but very easy to spray.

Kandy, pearl, etc should be assembled before doing the outside panels

Not a bad color. Could be a good starting point anyway.

Assembling for paint is not really an option for me. This is a full quad cab f150 and I have to paint jams, behind cab, roof and fenders on first spray. Box, doors on second. Bumpers, flares and hood on another, and finally all my interior trim on the last. Nobody has a spray booth big enough to do at same time unfortunately.

The motorcycle is done in ********** orange base, no pearls or special affects.
