Hi Guys'
Just wondering if there's any issue other than the clear gets harder and tougher to cut and buff if I wait a month or two to do it? My clear just says after 24 hours. I was planning to do it next week but not sure I can make that happen. If I don't get it done then, then will be October before I have the time.

Depends on the clear. I know with that Tamco Euro clear that Chris sells here I wouldn't want to wait that long..... but with that Universal clear sold by uhhhhh.....well, we can't mention that name here because it gets bleeped.....I've worked that clear even a couple of YEARS later and it was like the week I shot it. PPG 2021 is another hard clear to work with past a few weeks. And then there are Transtar clears which are kind of in the middle of the road.
Okay, so who's clear are you working??????....... Metal, wood, fiberglass, we work it all... www.furniturephysicians.com We can restore the irreplaceable!

The clear in question is Matrix MS-42 High Solids.

I find it better to wait longer with some clears. Yes it will require more work to cut and buff but there will be no chance of scratches reappearing because of shrinking.
