I recently purchased a Sata 100 B RP for spraying sealer and I use the Devilbiss Dekups system of disposable cups. This gun uses the ¼ turn Sata cup connector.
When I ordered the gun, they told me that there was an adapter made for it.
When I received my little gift in the mail I was a little surprised to see it was a type of permanent retrofit. You put the little brass insert on the bolt, insert it into the gun’s cup receiver and bang it on in!
You then unscrew the bolt, then screw the adapter on. ehh! sounds a little hackish.

I didn’t really like that idea as I like to keep the option of using a standard cup. So a little quality internet search time and I located this adapter #96-719.
Wasn’t sure if it would work correctly, but ordered it anyway. When I received it, I saw that it had some female threads. I had a couple of Dekups adapters from previous guns that I have since gotten rid of and the Dekups adapter #81 works perfect! So now I have a Dekups adapter for a Sata and I can still use the factory Sata cup if I want. Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head...
