Any easier way to remove overspray on windows besides a razo

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

No matter how hard I try I end up getting overspray on windows.

I usually use a razor to scrape it all off. I've got a car right now with more than usual overspray [ I used masking paper, and lots of blue 3m tape, but still get the OS], and my arthritis in my hands are aching at the prospect of using the razor again.

Is there any way to just buff it out?

You really need to review your masking technique. No overspray should get through to a window that is properly masked with quality tape.

If still fairly fresh then a little thinners on a soft cloth will get most of it off. Repeat with fresh cloth for residue and finish with a window cleaner. Or use ultra-fine steel wool.

A clay bar works real good on everything for overspray!

0000 Steel Wool works wonders on glass. Use the razor blade just for stuff too thick for the steel wool. If you protect the paint a small amount of lacquer thinner can be applied if necessary.

All good advise.

I also vote for better Masking technique.
I Mask with 3M Plastic wrap The stuff is Great! easily trim and cut out work areas after draping whole car, seal down with tape.
