Hi All
I am using an Iwata LPH80 124G minigun for my guitars. On this last guitar I noticed the spray pattern is coming out as rows of dark and light lines. A test spray of the fan pattern shows the spray heavier on the bottom of the fan. I checked the fluid tip and there's an indent on it.
Is this the source of the problem? The horn air holes look good and are clean.
If this is the source then a replacement is $100 plus shipping. **** expensive.
Is it possible for me to fix it and if so, what approach/tools would you use?
Thanks for any and all replies.

Yep, that is definitely a problem.
No, you cannot fix it properly. Might find a used tip set online.

Wow..,how crushed up is the needle? Looks like it got dropped when the air cap wasn't attached. Yeah, no salvaging that.....

The needle is fine. I think I must have done this while it was in the cleaning cup with the other parts. Other than that I have no idea.

Yeah, that is strange damage short of just dropping it without the air cap on and that normally at least bends the end of the needle or roughs it up as well.
