So if I wipe down a freshly sprayed 2 pack painted surface (couple of days later) with thinners and the paint softens, this means the paint has not fully cured and set?, or is there a window of time where the thinners will soften the paint even when chemically cured.

The weather hasnt been very nice here, maybe we are sitting in the 18c temp range

I sprayed 2 pack acrylic clear, it sanded and buffed up fine, but i had to wipe some overspray of an area of plastic, my dampened rag when it contacted my 2 pack reacted and lifted some paint at a hard edge and created sink back in a couple of other areas.

In this weather would take a few days out in the sun at least.

Lesson is to stay clear of fresh paint with any kind of solvent, even prepsol.
