Well, that's terrible. I swear this is the strangest times ever...... So far I've known of 6 people that have died from it. One of the guys was standing in my shop ordering up some work....about 2 weeks later his wife said he had a cough and fever....into the hospital within a few days, then on a ventilator and died later that week. Big strapping guy about my size, Harley rider, into Jeeps.... and just like that he's gone....

Nearly all who have died are elderly and those with underlying health issues.
I have a good friend with diabetes and a heart condition. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks on oxygen because he couldn't breathe. Oxygen saturation levels with in the low 80s.
He's home and doing fine now.

My wife just went through it but never lost taste or smell. Her oxygen levels stayed in the high 80s but the cough and difficulty breathing had her down for a week. She is doing much better now as well.

Personally, I don't trust the government giving out vaccinations. When they started the flu shots, I watched people line up for them, then all get sick with the flu. Decided we would skip that cycle and haven't had the flu in a very long time.

Everyone has to follow what they feel is the best course for them.

Normally use TurboTax but they have a glitch in their system this year. Keeps trying to tell me I deferred Social Security taxes from last year, that I will have to pay this year. Totally bogus since I never deferred anything.

Ha, ha.... taxes.....yeah, luckily I have a tech. degree in accounting and have always surrounded myself with the best CPA people. Government needs every penny now so they'll look for the easiest people to tap....and that is us!

I've just been doing a little each day crafting my sculpture....uhhhh....I mean wing. By the end of this weekend it will be a completed component. The idea then will be to go ahead and fit it, pull it back off and let it cure for about week before proceeding on to special paint effect, base/clear, etc...

And moving right along....sanded, blended in the touch-up areas and final hit of 100 grit on our outside top and sides. Left outside at 100 grit now so it's "grippy" on this really wet application. Pressed out the Tuck tape very close to that underneath edge. Set the whole thing up and leveled it side to side and front to back. Did a single 16 ounce pour all over with the excess dripping all edges. Looks pretty level as it is flowing. I'll wait about 8 hours and see if I want to do another wet flow coat over that.....

Okay, got a good wet on wet pour....ready to do 400 grit and let her set for a week or so to fully cure....

Well, I feel like I spent more time taking pic.s and figuring out what I was doing than actual shop time. I have about 12 hours in it. To get something as well made as this and as custom as I am going to paint it I would have been up in the $1000 + range. And from the pic.s I see there it doesn't even look like they have a surface quality as good as mine is at this point!
I mean I know Corvette guys regularly get taken to the cleaners but geez....over 3 grand for a single body component!
