No harm trying, better than having it haunt you. For better or worse it would be good to figure out.

Got my front seats back, they look great.

Finished going through the hard drives I can get into, No luck as I figured.
I am gonna ship two in to be analyzed by a Pro one at a time its kinda expensive.
both were in use for the time period I am after I am sure of that. BUT can the info be retrieved? the one drive I can see was over written a couple of times has almost 8 gigs of info on it and none of it is accessible to me.
That one for sure is gonna be expensive to get at all that info.

I am gonna send one to the company today and see what they can come up with see what happens. then decide on the other.
I wish I could remember which one I used. lap top or pc?

Too bad you can't remember which one, given a 50/50 chance I never get it right anywhere near half the time. We'll good luck, hope they can do it.

I bought some Recovery software today seams to work but haven't had any luck so far finding what I am looking for may be the files were over written and what I am looking for is unrecoverable and gone forever.
At this point I am not giving it much hope although I am not giving up!
I still have two more that I need need new ckt boards to get them to open at least I think that's the problem?
I bought 1 ckt board today on ebay today thats correct for one.
anther place has the other ckt board but I need to make sure it has correct bios first.
I will just do this stuff myself rather than sending out and spending a bunch of money.
I can live with it if I don't find it at least I tried.

Yeah I guess odds aren't in your favor so so no point getting stressed over it.

Speaking of stressed, I had to go to the US for a few days, just got back last night. All smooth sailing going down, total hassle coming home. Canada has lost it's mind with this covid thing.

Ya I am done with the Covid deal had enough of it the Hoops I am forced to jump through with my job are over the Top. Then when I have to travel for it I am forced to comply with the other country's rules as well. Cologne Germany and Tahiti were not much fun with the Lock downs. Tahiti wasn't all that bad, at least we could go out a little bit.
BUT Cologne was worst total lock down nothing open but grocery and Pharmacist gas stations basically and could not go more than 19 miles from room or work or be fined / arrested. Testing to get in testing to get out and tested weekly as well.

Vegas has kinda opened up a little you don't have to where a mask if you don't want to in SOME establishments.
Crossing any Border is a pain though rules change weekly if not daily unless your an Illegal crossing USA Border.

I was in San Diego, might have seen 3 people with masks. You would never know there was a pandemic. We got our covid test in a taxi at a drive through testing place. I thought that was pretty weird. I think you can get into north Korea easier than Canada. Coming back at our airport they just randomly drag people out of line for a suprise covid test even though we all have negative tests just to get that far. Had to download some travel app to be able to get on the plane back. Didn't have to do anything to go down other than a printed negative covid test. Cost close to $1000 in covid tests for two of us. I sure hope this ends one day, have no desire to travel again for a while.

Depends where you are and what clinic you go to. I was talking to a guy that had recently come back from Vegas and he said it was $350 there which is just shy of $500 cdn. We paid $250 each cdn each in San Diego. A bit less up here for the way down.
I totally agree that they should pay if they require it.
It's a complete pain to schedule it too, needs to be within 72 hours and no guarantee you get results before 48 hours, cuts it kind of close and if your flight is delayed or cancelled you can be out of luck.

Happy to be home but I sure did like that summer weather. It's fairly cold and rainy pretty much everyday here.

I'm working on the new ebrake system, hopefully it works out without any extra modifications.
