Yes, I have a 3" set up for tight spots as well.
I like the Euro Clear since it cures to a fairly hard, scratch resistant surface. Takes a little more work to cut and buff, if you let it cure too long, but when buffed looks great.

This: Not to replace a full size buffer, but to do finer work. |

I would like to try a Euro Clear at some point--I have only used Omni, which I have had nice results but I have nothing to compare it to. Once I upgrade the compressor, I will get a decent 3" buffer also. |
I made the mistake of using Omni once. Never again.
There is a reason those bargain priced products are so cheap. Give Automotive Art Motobase LV a try for your base coat. It is reasonably priced and sprays and covers great. Tamco Clears sold on this site are decent as well. I used Tamco Euro clear on the '62 Chevy truck but mostly I use the forbidden to be mentioned products because I am use to them. 1968 Coronet R/T

Having only used Omni, I don't know any better. Is the more $$ clear a durability thing or is it the application that makes it better--dumb question I know. |
It is the solids content of the clear coat and the quality of the ingredients.
Perhaps one of the pros on here will have a more technical answer for you? 1968 Coronet R/T

Well then maybe for my next job I'll get a quart of Euro and try it out--kind of curious now. |
