Hi guys. I have a plastic valance on the front of my Super Duty Ford. It's not a painted valance but a factory colored plastic, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, I've included a pic for you guys to see. It's been worn or stained from the past. I would like to repaint it. What do you guys suggest?

i would Rino line it semi-gloss black. adjust the spray to a fine texture. its easy and cheep and should last for ever. thats what a lot of locals do. to paint properly it's going to be involved tools wise cost and materials. i hope your not thinking shaker cans.

Yeah, that's a perfect place for bedliner. You should get a good bond and if does get whacked up hard enough it is easy to repair.....

I'd just take the valance off. Knocking the roof antennas off Honda Civics is just cruel.

I painted an RV wheel skirt awhile back. It's hard to see in this pic but you can see a small portion of it. You can tell how faded the skirt was.

In this next pic you can see how it turned out once I painted it. (with a rattle can lol). I would like to know if there is another way....to satisfy my curiosity.

guard = (mud)guard. Being Australian, we've already shortened it. Soon it will morph into guard-o. It's not one of these:

bogan = member of a lower socio-economic group of Australian society. Similar to redneck but without any colour connotation. This and this will explain more.
