Hello, I've searched for a long time and I can't find an answer anywhere. I have an Iwata W-400 and a WLPH-400. I've had them for years and I just bought two new black gaskets that go in the air cap but I can't tell which direction they go. The old ones fell apart and are gone. They fit and look correct either way but there has to be a certain correct way. There is a lip on one side of the flat o-ring/gasket. I don't remember how they came when they were new. Thanks for any help.

Are you sure the W-400 has a cap seal/gasket?
I don't see one in any of their parts lists or diagrams.

I don't think the newer ones have one but these came with one. I bought two new seals.

I believe the lip goes inward, you may want to test fit it without the cap on.

Thanks, I appreciate the reply's and info. I need a gun upgrade I guess, LOL. But the price of new ones is crazy. I paid around 500 for these years ago.
