Here's the problem how do I get rid of 40&80 grit sand ssratches

Use 120-180 grit sand paper to sand 40/80 grit sand scratches out followed by 240-320 grit sand paper to sand 120-180 grit sand scratches out if your looking for smoothness.
If you are working with body filler, you won't need to get it that smooth.
