Here are a few random pictures of my first complete paint job. I finished the project last summer with a lot of your help. It took about 350 hours and a lot of dedication for a 17 year-old. I am SO proud of my car :D . I know that I am the only kid in high school that painted their car. I have a little write up on the process on my car domain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2250733/2 Thanks again for your help!!

Wow man, this car looks great. I dont care for the wheels much but you just cant go wrong with an Orange Fox body Stang. 8)

I hope mine turns out half as good as this one did!

That's amazing .... You should have seen the first car I tried to paint when I was 17years old .... It looked ok ....... Zooming past at about 60mph    Up close it looked shocking !!

Did you have anyone help you with the prep ?? There is no way I would have got a car that straight without someone there to say "no good ... try again" ... about 1000times over  :)

Nice work! I remember doing all the body work on my old 1982 Fox body Mustang. I took it, stripped of parts, to Maaco to let them paint it. Couldn't tell there was ever a dent on the car :) Just like yours... only your car is a nicer model.

What type of primer and paint did you use for your project?

I did not have anyone except my dad and friends (who dont have any autobody experience) help me the whole summer. I just learned as I went which is why it took so long. I used dupont uroprime, chromabase and nason clear.

Nicely done! Now you have to deal with all your buddies bugging you to do their rides, way to go
