This was todays detail, an '04 MX5 travelled 20 odd k's, I have no before pics but I can tell you its the other car in the family of the Black XR8 I posted a few weeks back.......so you can pretty much guess.
Im told it was the car on the Brisbane motor show stand a few years back, and supposedly a limited colour, (perhaps the maxda guys on here will know for sure)
After starting gently I ended up working my up to Hyper compound with a wool pad trying to get the last of the swirls and came pretty close all bar a few tiny little sh*&^. LOL The bulk of the work was done with 3.01 and a white wolfgang pad then 106FF with a black wolfgang pad all on the rotary.
Applied 3 x Z2 Pro then Z8
The last 3 pics are straight off the buff with a wash and Z6 wipedown
Clouds not polish

amazing... great job...
which polish did you used :?: |

By polish I assume you mean wax/sealent as in the LSP (last stage product)..........If so I used 3 layers of Zaino Z2 Pro enhanced with ZFX But the actual polishing (abrasives) was done mainly with Menzerna although I did use some Optimum Hyper Compound but mostly the Menzerna 85RD (American equivalent is 106FF) was used to get the shine and the Zaino to protect and keep the shine there. Hope this is what you wanted to know Chris |

DBS,
Your works are always motivating. If i saw a detailer taking pictures of his work, now that's someone with lots of pride. I'll bet the owners of the cars you work on are lifetime customers. I have quite a few myself and it's a great feeling when someone drives 125 miles to have work done by me. I almost didn't want to charge anything and sometimes i don't for minor repairs for good customers (free oil changes, brake jobs, etc.) Keep on shining brotha! A man can do all things if he but wills them.

I wish DBS lived in my city. I'm afraid of colorsanding and buffing.
