Here's the situation. I sprayed ppg acrylic enamel metalic looks great except for where i ran out of paint, reloaded, and well... lost my place on the door. (not enough lighting). Now I have this one stripe that is over my % coverage and left a darker line. The paint sagged and also dragged the metalic out of place. :x There are 4 coats of paint on this door. Can anyone tell me if I can wet sand this stripe out with success, or should I sand and reshoot the darn thing?
Any help appreciated.

You can try it and see how bad it will look. But I would sand and reshoot it. When you use a one step paint with metalic in it and you have to wet sand it, the metalic starts to look funny.
