What's the real story on buying/using paint starting in the new year.

In, California, as long as the paint is made from free-range goat urine its legal to use. You can also mix Elmer's glue with bottled Perrier as a clear coat. Oh, and as a primer, you can used Adobe mud mixed with rainwater from Death Valley. :D

I think you are exempt if you paint 2 cars a year or less.

ROTFLMAO!!! BUT, you forgot the equipment. The painter must use a 100% efficient paint gun(I think that one is called a brush) and wear complete SCUBA equipment inside a paint booth sealed as tight as a submarine. No medicine allowed for the painter within 24 hours of painting except Medical Marijuana. No energy drinks allowed.

I've spent plenty of time in California. A lovely place.

I remember 6 months ago people were talking about not being able to buy the same paint we can buy now, something about water based only in California.

Been there too. We have a city very similar to CA. We call it the republic of Boulder. They worry about leaf blowers because it produces noise polution.... :lol:
