All Tamco Clears are full kit - they come with both clear and the required activator. I challenge you to find a better clear at $80 per sprayable gallon. Why pay the majors ridiculous prices so they can put their name on race cars and driver's suits? This clear turns out show car quality results and compares with the best clears on the market today.
HC-2100 is a water-like crystal clear product - perfect for both collision work as well as restorations. Same basic formula as Tamco's top-end HC-2104 clear, but with slightly less solids which means easier application control and excellent flow-out.
No corners cut on this clear, it includes full UV protection as well. It is truly a Universal Clear - you can spray it over any of the major basecoats sold in the USA today. If you are a relatively new painter this clear is about as child proof as you can get, and still have a product that will put cars in the winner's circle at any show or auction.
This is Tamco's best selling product and it is in such high demand that it is also a major seller for them as part of their white label program -- meaning there's a chance you've already used this clear and don't even realize it because someone else sells it under their own brand name.
A word about Tamco
It has been my pleasure to get to know Tamco. This is a family run business, with decades of experience. When you call you will most likely talk with the owner, Tammy Miller. She has literally grown up in the paint business. Tammy's father, Bob Barney has been in this business since 1979 and has manufactured and sold marine paints, industrial finishes and auto refinish paints. For years the family ran one of the largest PPG jobbers in the USA. Tammy's husband Sean Miller is the lead tech guy who also manages the production facility in Smithfield, Virginia. They take personal pride in their craft and you will not be disappointed by them or their high quality refinishing products.
